Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as the store leader in the Store Leader’s absence, ensuring seamless operations and continuity of leadership.
  • Drive sales performance and deliver on-store KPIs through coaching, visual direction and cadence-driven selling.
  • Coach, develop and motivate the sales team; deliver feedback, performance reviews and on-the-job training to build selling capability.
  • Oversee merchandising standards and visual presentation to maintain brand image and seasonal floor sets.
  • Manage inventory control, stockroom organization, replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
  • Create and manage staffing schedules, monitor attendance and help execute payroll and HR-related processes as needed.
  • Deliver exceptional client service, resolve escalated customer issues, and cultivate repeat business.
  • Perform physical store duties including receiving shipments and moving stock (regularly lift 25 lbs; occasionally up to 50 lbs).

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership capability with strong interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Ability to lift regularly at least 25 lbs and occasionally up to 50 lbs; comfortable with bending, climbing and stockroom duties.
  • Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada.
  • Strong customer-focus and commercial orientation; effective communicator under pressure.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years' retail experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory or assistant manager role within fashion or lifestyle retail, demonstrating consistent sales delivery and team development.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
