The Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising Project Assistant supports trade operations, retail activations, product launches, merchandising installations, and related project coordination for Jo Malone London and Aramis Fragrances. This internship is based on Rue Cambon in Paris and offers possible remote work.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the 360° development of trade operations, including creating trade materials, preparing distribution plans, checking creative assets, creating codes, and coordinating supply, in close collaboration with Design, Sales, and Supply teams.
- Track trade projects weekly with the Design team.
- Coordinate trade activation operations and schedules with Sales and Retail teams.
- Develop distinctive activations for flagship stores and department stores with the Design and Department Store teams.
- Prepare for and participate in the January, March, and June sales meetings.
- Assist in preparing marketing presentations for clients.
- Develop sales-support tools.
- Conduct field visits and competitor monitoring.
- Implement product launches at points of sale.
- Update visuals for new products, campaigns, and merchandising displays.
- Create planogram books and briefs for service providers for store openings.
- Check the execution of merchandising installations.
- Provide on-site after-sales support for department stores and following installations at points of sale, as well as in response to requests from Sales teams and department stores.
- Track specific merchandising projects with Trade Marketing and corporate teams.
- Coordinate office shipments.
- Update price signage following price increases.
- Assist with VIP visits.
Qualifications
- Bac+4/5 education at a business school or university, with a specialization in Marketing; at least Bac+4.
- At least 6 months of marketing experience in similar roles, ideally in a luxury house or cosmetics.
- Comfortable working with and analyzing figures.
- Fluent in French and English.
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Organized, rigorous, and autonomous.
- Dynamic, creative, and proactive in proposing ideas.
- Strong interpersonal skills and team spirit.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize.
- Able to anticipate and adapt responsively.
- Sensitivity to the world of luxury and exceptional fragrances.
