Jo Malone London seeks a Stylist to deliver exceptional customer service within its boutique at John Lewis Exeter, embodying the brand's ethos of creativity, kindness, and curiosity. The role encompasses providing personalized fragrance consultations, hosting in-store events including hand and arm massages and wedding consultations, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The Stylist will work flexible retail hours to maximize sales performance, build relationships with colleagues and clientele, and uphold the brand's grooming and housekeeping standards in a fast-paced, event-driven environment.

Role & Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional and personalized customer service aligned with brand values
• Maximize sales performance and productivity across all customer interactions
• Conduct signature in-store services including hand and arm massages and fragrance consultations
• Support the execution and hosting of in-store events such as wedding consultations and product experiences
• Maintain awareness of stock levels and inventory accuracy
• Uphold visual merchandising standards and maintain the boutique work environment to brand specifications
• Monitor competitor activity and drive an omni-channel retail approach
• Adhere to brand grooming guidelines and maintain housekeeping standards
• Assist with opening and closing procedures and boutique operations
• Build collaborative relationships with team members and corporate clients

Qualifications

• Demonstrable ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• High level of creative and technical expertise in fragrance and beauty presentation
• Availability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
• Experience with retail point-of-sale systems
• Warm, gracious, and intelligent demeanor with a groomed and professional appearance
• Passport or proof of right to work in the United Kingdom

Skills

Experience

Retail customer service experience in a luxury or prestige beauty environment is preferred; however, applicants with amateur-level experience but demonstrable creative and technical expertise are welcome to apply.

Education

Certification in makeup artistry or previous retail makeup experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided by the employer.
