Jo Malone London is seeking a part-time Key Holder in New York, NY, to support store leadership, coach the sales team, reconcile cash and open and close the store on a rota basis. The role pays $19–$24 per hour, depending on factors including experience, skills, education and budget; the range may vary by geographic location, and the position is eligible for a competitive bonus program.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the store.
- Lead by example through coaching and mentoring, modelling the behaviors expected of the sales team to deliver inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service and achieve sales and customer service targets.
- Perform start- and end-of-day cash reconciliation.
- Open and close the store on a rota basis.
Qualifications
- Proven retail experience, preferably in cosmetics.
- Ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service.
- Retail operations experience, including cash reconciliation and store opening and closing, is desirable.
- Previous supervisory experience, including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets, is desirable.
- Ability to work retail hours, including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with retail point-of-sale software.
- Must be able to provide proof of the right to live and work in the country if invited to interview.
