Jo Malone London, a prestige fragrance and beauty brand of the Estée Lauder Companies, seeks an inspirational Key Holder to support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in ensuring smooth, efficient store operations in Columbus Circle, New York. The role combines supervisory responsibilities—coaching and mentoring sales staff to deliver personalized customer service—with essential retail operations such as cash reconciliation and store opening/closing procedures. This position offers an ideal entry point into retail management for an ambitious self-starter with proven retail experience in cosmetics or prestige beauty.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Coach and mentor sales team members to model inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service while achieving sales and customer service targets
  • Support the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in day-to-day store operations and staff leadership
  • Perform cash reconciliation at start and end of shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company procedures
  • Open and close the store on a rota basis, including security and facility checks
  • Lead by example, demonstrating the behaviors and standards required for excellence in a prestige beauty retail environment
  • Manage retail point-of-sale systems and related administrative functions

Qualifications

  • Proven retail experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
  • Ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
  • Previous supervisory experience including coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
  • Experience with retail point-of-sale software
  • Ability to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events
