Jo Malone London seeks a dynamic Boutique Manager to lead a high-performing retail team and drive commercial excellence at the St Pancras boutique. The successful candidate will orchestrate exceptional customer experiences—from signature hand and arm massages to bespoke events such as wedding consultations, floral crown workshops, and cocktail masterclasses—while maintaining accountability for sales performance, inventory management, team development, and operational standards. This role offers total business ownership of store performance through strategic business planning, customer relationship management, and the cultivation of a brand-aligned team culture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service experiences that embody Jo Malone London's brand values of kindness, creativity and generosity
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Associates and Stylists to achieve all sales, customer service and operational key performance indicators
- Create and execute compelling in-store events including fashion shows, consultations, product launches and experiential activations that drive footfall and sales
- Develop and execute an agile business plan incorporating sales forecasting, customer targeting, staff scheduling and budget management
- Maximise sales performance and productivity through effective team leadership, motivation and performance management
- Manage all retail operations including stock and inventory management, cash reconciliation, facilities maintenance and visual merchandising standards
- Communicate effectively across internal platforms, engage with corporate clients and media contacts, and drive awareness of competitor activity
- Complete administrative tasks to a high standard, utilise online learning tools and reporting systems, and support an omni-channel retail approach
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service
- Prior business planning experience including sales target-setting, customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Prior retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management, cash reconciliation and point-of-sale systems
- Established track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Candidates should demonstrate proven leadership, coaching and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment, with a track record of managing teams and delivering against sales targets.
