Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised customer service experiences that embody Jo Malone London's brand values of kindness, creativity and generosity
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Sales Associates and Stylists to achieve all sales, customer service and operational key performance indicators
- Create and execute compelling in-store events including fashion shows, consultations, product launches and experiential activations that drive footfall and sales
- Develop and execute an agile business plan incorporating sales forecasting, customer targeting, staff scheduling and budget management
- Maximise sales performance and productivity through effective team leadership, motivation and performance management
- Manage all retail operations including stock and inventory management, cash reconciliation, facilities maintenance and visual merchandising standards
- Communicate effectively across internal platforms, engage with corporate clients and media contacts, and drive awareness of competitor activity
- Complete administrative tasks to a high standard, utilise online learning tools and reporting systems, and support an omni-channel retail approach
Qualifications
- Proven retail management or assistant retail management experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalised customer service
- Prior business planning experience including sales target-setting, customer service targets, sales analysis and staff scheduling
- Prior retail operations experience including inventory and facilities management, cash reconciliation and point-of-sale systems
- Established track record of leading a team to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Experience creating and executing in-store events
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and retail point-of-sale software
- Ability to work flexible retail hours including days, evenings, weekends and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Proof of right to live and work in the United Kingdom

Experience
Candidates should demonstrate proven leadership, coaching and business management skills gained in a fast-paced retail environment, with a track record of managing teams and delivering against sales targets. Experience in prestige beauty, fragrance or cosmetics is preferred. Prior exposure to business planning, consumer insights, event management and front-line marketing will strengthen an application.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; further retail qualifications or beauty industry certifications are advantageous.
