Jo Malone London seeks a highly skilled Beauty Advisor to deliver personalized in-store beauty experiences that educate and delight customers through expert makeup application and technical artistry. The role combines creative expertise with a passion for customer service, requiring collaboration with a high-performing retail team to execute in-store events and maintain exceptional visual merchandising standards. While makeup artistry certification and prior retail beauty experience are preferred, the company welcomes candidates with amateur-level experience who demonstrate strong creative and technical capabilities and a commitment to professional development.

Role & Responsibilities

• Provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized makeup application services and beauty consultations to customers
• Demonstrate creative and technical makeup expertise to educate customers and drive product engagement
• Collaborate with store team to execute in-store events and product launches
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and store presentation to differentiate the brand
• Operate retail point-of-sale systems and process customer transactions
• Support the team in achieving sales targets and store performance objectives

Qualifications

• Ability to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical makeup expertise
• Proven ability to provide inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service
• Capacity to work retail hours including days, evenings, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with retail point-of-sale software
• Proof of right to live and work in the United States

Skills

Experience

Makeup artistry certification or previous retail makeup experience is preferred; however, candidates with amateur-level experience are welcome to apply if they can demonstrate strong creative and technical capabilities.

Education

Makeup artistry certification or equivalent training is desirable but not required.

Compensation

The base compensation for this position ranges from USD 22 to USD 24.50 per hour.
