Jo Malone London, part of The Estée Lauder Companies, seeks an inspirational Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop a sales team in a prestige beauty retail environment. The successful candidate will support the Store Manager in achieving sales targets, delivering exceptional customer service, and overseeing daily store operations whilst coaching Sales Associates to their full potential. This full-time position requires supervisory expertise, retail operations knowledge, and a commitment to excellence in luxury fragrance retail.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the Sales Associate team to achieve all sales, customer service, and operational targets
- Oversee daily retail operations including inventory management, cash reconciliation, and stock control
- Deliver inspirational, authentic, and personalized customer service whilst setting standards for the team
- Coach and mentor Sales Associates to improve performance and reach individual and collective sales objectives
- Manage retail hours including days, nights, weekends, and special events in a fast-paced environment
- Operate point-of-sale systems and manage associated transactions
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures whilst maintaining a professional and welcoming retail environment
Qualifications
- Proven retail supervisory experience, preferably within cosmetics or prestige beauty
- Demonstrated track record of coaching and mentoring others to achieve sales and customer service targets
- Expertise in retail operations including inventory management, cash reconciliation, and stock control
- Experience with retail point-of-sale software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
