Capri Holdings Limited seeks a Technical Sheets Assistant — Accessories in Scandicci, Italy to manage technical data for bags and SLG.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect, compile and maintain comprehensive technical information for all bags and small leather goods (SLG) within each collection, including colour, raw materials (leather and hardware) and component specifications.
- Acquire technical consumption data and production details from manufacturers and third‑party suppliers, ensuring completeness and traceability.
- Design, implement and manage spreadsheet systems and data structures to centralise technical specifications, material consumptions and manufacturer details; maintain version control and audit trails.
- Populate and update PDM/PLM records in coordination with Product Development and Technical teams, ensuring alignment between systems and flat files.
- Provide day‑to‑day support to the Technical Sheets Manager and Technical Sheets Officer; escalate discrepancies and follow up on corrective actions with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
- Perform quality checks on technical sheets and bills of materials to ensure accuracy and manufacturability; enforce timelines and filing standards.
- Liaise with cross‑functional teams (product development, production, sourcing and quality) to ensure data integrity throughout the product lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven technical competence in a similar role within luxury accessories or leather goods; demonstrable understanding of product construction and production processes.
- Experience working in luxury brand supply‑chain, product development or technical departments is mandatory.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills (including PivotTables and structured spreadsheets).
- Practical knowledge of PDM and PLM systems and experience maintaining product data in such platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to maintain professional relationships with internal teams and external manufacturers.
- High level of accuracy, organisational discipline and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Fluency in Italian and English.

Experience
Approximately 1–3 years in product development, technical documentation or supply‑chain roles within the luxury accessories or leather goods sector; direct exposure to manufacturers and materials consumption data is preferred.
Education
High‑school diploma with technical/vocational focus or a bachelor’s degree in fashion technology, industrial design, materials science or a related discipline; vocational training or certifications in leather goods/product development considered a plus.
