Capri Holdings seeks a Stock Controller in Serris, France (La Vallée) — 35-hour full-time role managing inventory accuracy and stock operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee daily stock operations for the La Vallée location, ensuring accuracy of on‑hand inventory and timely processing of receipts, returns and transfers.
- Perform scheduled cycle counts and ad-hoc inventory verifications; investigate and reconcile variances between physical stock and system records.
- Maintain and update inventory records within the company’s ERP/inventory system and produce regular stock reports and KPIs for local management.
- Coordinate logistics and stock movements with stores, distribution centres and central teams to support replenishment and allocation plans.
- Implement and enforce loss-prevention procedures, secure handling of high-value merchandise and compliance with internal controls.
- Support external and internal audits, prepare documentation for stock reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of inventory processes.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in inventory or stock control (retail or warehousing environment preferred).
- Demonstrable experience with cycle counting, stock reconciliation and physical inventory procedures.
- Strong numerical accuracy, attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential, high-value merchandise with discretion and integrity.
- Capacity to perform occasional physical duties associated with receiving and moving stock.

Experience
Typically 2+ years of hands-on experience in inventory control, stock reconciliation or warehouse operations; prior exposure to retail or luxury goods environments and ERP inventory systems is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational qualification in logistics, supply chain or a related discipline preferred.
