Jimmy Choo seeks a Stock Controller in Parndorf, Austria to manage boutique inventory, SAP reconciliations and stocktakes.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain organised, secure and clean stockroom areas and ensure merchandising stock is correctly shelved and retrievable.
- Receive and verify incoming deliveries against paperwork; report and escalate discrepancies to the Store Manager.
- Manage in-bound and out-bound stock transfers between stockrooms and boutiques, including physical movement of boxes.
- Execute cycle counts, participate in full stocktakes and reconcile inventory variances with Head Office reports.
- Support the faulty stock process and ensure defective items are processed according to company policy.
- Proactively identify stock issues, propose corrective actions and communicate effectively with store and head office teams.
- Support store events and collaborate with wider store team to maintain operational standards and stock availability.
Qualifications
- Demonstrable experience as a stock controller, inventory clerk or stockroom lead within a recognised retail brand.
- Previous experience in a luxury retail environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to perform accurate cycle counts, reconciliations and to maintain inventory record integrity.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to liaise with store teams and head office.
- Physically capable of manual handling duties associated with moving and organising stock.
Skills
Experience
Several years of hands-on retail stock control or inventory management experience, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion environment. Candidates must demonstrate prior responsibility for stocktakes, transfer reconciliations and day-to-day stockroom operations.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, retail operations or supply-chain disciplines is advantageous.
