Part-time Stock Associate position at JC/Capri Holdings in Cabazon, CA. Manage inventory, stockroom operations, and merchandise preparation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support store teams in maximizing the shopping experience for all clients
- Assist in processing all inventory movements and maintain accurate inventory records
- Implement and ensure adherence to shipment standards, floor sets, stockroom organization, and sales promotion standards
- Manage shoe back stock by adjusting and reorganizing on an ongoing basis
- Ship customer goods, corporate documents, and repairs in a timely manner
- Run Negative On Hand reports and adjust inventory accordingly
- Communicate with Store Manager about incoming and outgoing shipments, supply orders, and inventory needs
- Notify management of any shipment discrepancies, missed markdowns, and missing tickets in back stock areas
- Complete damages reports as required and communicate plans to Store Manager
- Execute price changes as directed by corporate
- Conduct stock checks and pulls for clients and store team
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure all styles are represented on the sales floor
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom while adhering to company standards and safety requirements
- Protect company assets by ensuring adherence to all Loss Prevention procedures
- Restock cash desk supplies including register rolls, bags, and ribbon
- Accurately receive, unpack, and prepare merchandise for the selling floor to maximize presentation and daily sales
- Perform re-ticketing, re-pricing, and markdowns as required
- Assist on the sales floor and fulfill cashier duties as necessary
- Demonstrate superior customer service practices to maximize sales and prevent shrink
- Understand and demonstrate product knowledge, selling and operational skills to maximize sales and profits
- Maximize space utilization within the stockroom and ensure Back of House cleanliness and efficiency
Qualifications
- Ability to work part-time hours with flexibility
- Proficiency in inventory management systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow operational standards and safety requirements
- Capability to work with physical merchandise and manage stockroom operations
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in retail inventory management, stockroom operations, or a similar warehouse or retail role is preferred but not required.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
