Role & Responsibilities

  • Support preparation, review and submission of quarterly budgets and forecasts across EMEA, ensuring robust assumptions and timely delivery
  • Lead rollover and maintenance of forecast P&Ls, managing forecast data uploads and coordinating with Actuals Reporting teams for accuracy
  • Business partner with EMEA Marketing, Visual Merchandise and Health and Safety teams, managing budgeting, forecasting and month-end reporting for these lines
  • Review monthly P&Ls and cost lines, performing detailed variance analysis and delivering clear management commentary
  • Prepare month-end journals, accruals and reconciliations including Sales, Personal Vouches, Courier Accruals and Quarterly Gift Card Accruals
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to challenge assumptions, provide commercial insights and support informed decision-making
  • Own retail store commission calculations, partnering with HR and Payroll teams to ensure timely and accurate processing
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, scenario analysis and strategic initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve financial reporting, planning processes and controls, driving efficiency and accuracy
  • Support ad hoc analysis, projects and strategic initiatives as required by the business
  • Proactively identify value-add opportunities and process improvements that enhance business performance and financial understanding

Qualifications

  • Formal professional accountancy qualification, fully or part-qualified (CIMA or ACCA or international equivalent)
  • Strong retail background in multi-currency, multi-entity business environment
  • Experience with SAP and HP/HFM is desirable
  • Demonstrates commercial acumen and strategic thinking
  • Proven ability to influence and collaborate at senior levels within an organization
  • Evidence of coaching and talent development capability

Formal professional accountancy qualification required, either fully or part-qualified status (CIMA, ACCA or international equivalent).
