Jimmy Choo seeks a Part-time Stock Controller in Chiusa Ferranda, Italy — responsible for stock control, transfers, cycle counts and stockroom management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify incoming deliveries against documentation; report and escalate any discrepancies to store management and the Stock Control team at Head Office.
  • Manage and track inter-store and in/out stock transfers, including follow-up and reconciliation of unverified transfers and negative reports.
  • Perform cycle counts and participate in full stocktakes as requested by store or Head Office.
  • Process, record and coordinate the return or disposal of faulty stock in line with company procedures.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure neat presentation, accurate stock records and efficient access during peak trading times.
  • Maintain stockroom controls and inventory accuracy, proactively identifying and resolving stock issues with store management and Head Office.
  • Communicate delivery schedules and stockroom plans to the store team; schedule stockroom activity to minimise disruption to customer service.
  • Support store events as required and take responsibility for adherence to operational processes and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Stock Controller or similar role with a recognised brand, preferably within luxury retail.
  • Demonstrable knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP is strongly desired.
  • Fluent English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail to support accurate reconciliation and cycle counting.
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling of stock and sustain periods of physical activity.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively within a store team.

SAP Excel Computer literacy (stock management systems)

Experience

Demonstrable experience in stock control or inventory management within a retail environment, ideally with a recognised or luxury brand; prior use of SAP and experience performing cycle counts and reconciliations preferred.
