Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the global merchandising strategy for women’s accessories to maximise revenue and margin while ensuring a coherent brand representation across regions.
- Own short- and long-range product forecasts; identify risks and opportunities and propose contingency plans to protect sales and profitability.
- Manage the Global Core Buy for women’s accessories to represent approximately 70% of regional selections and reduce assortment fragmentation.
- Collaborate with Collection Merchandising and Planning to set style and SKU targets, define seasonal carryover and product lifecycles, and forecast LLT material and component needs.
- Coordinate monthly global product trade meetings with Planning; collate market feedback and convert insights into concrete commercial actions.
- Lead global production pre-order coordination for Retail and Wholesale, and manage seasonal re-orders within OTB constraints.
- Perform ongoing product performance analysis and design initiatives to meet financial targets, drive sell-through and optimise inventory.
- Liaise with Global Marketing, Visual Merchandising, CRM and Retail Training to align product strategy with marketing plans and retail execution.
- Work closely with Production and Supply Chain to prioritise key products and ensure timely availability across channels.
- Prepare regional selections and final order packages for executive sign-off, ensuring commercial alignment and governance.
Qualifications
- Graduate calibre candidate; degree in business, fashion, merchandising or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 8+ years’ experience in retail merchandising or buying, ideally within luxury leather goods or accessories.
- Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills required.
- Power BI experience advantageous.
