Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the GMM, EMEA, in delivering the end-to-end seasonal buying process and continuity product strategy for EMEA full-price retail and e‑commerce footwear channels.
  • Select and optimise the seasonal product assortment for EMEA stores and online, building seasonal stock packages and placing buys at style, store and size level in line with OTB and range plans.
  • Present seasonal product selection and buying strategy to Retail teams; conduct in‑season product training to elevate product knowledge prior to launches.
  • Oversee continuity product strategy, store continuity mapping and the monthly reorder strategy to maintain optimal stock cover and availability.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and ad‑hoc product performance and sell‑through analysis and present insights to cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Lead pre‑buy seasonal analysis and present learnings to the GMM/EMEA leadership ahead of buying campaigns.
  • Partner with Area Managers and store teams through regular market visits to tailor assortments, correct in‑season imbalances and maximise local sell‑through.
  • Coordinate with Global Buying, Central Merchandising and the Middle East buying team to align seasonal product development, capsule needs and inter‑regional stock share opportunities.
  • Work with the Senior Planner and Allocator to ensure inventory cover, meet seasonal sell‑through targets and optimise assortments by door.
  • Define product assortments for events, visual merchandising and new store openings consistent with opening stock plans.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Logistics and Online teams to ensure product synergy across channels.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in buying and/or merchandise planning across European markets, preferably within luxury footwear or accessories.
  • University graduate or equivalent level experience.
  • Proven track record in assortment building, stock optimisation and increasing sales turnover while maximising gross profit.
  • Strong commercial and analytical capability with highly developed sell‑through and performance analysis skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to meet tight seasonal deadlines.
  • Strong management, mentorship and stakeholder management experience.
  • Fluency in English.
