Capri seeks a Financial Planning Analyst, Asia in Shanghai, China to support budgeting, Capex tracking and financial analysis.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Finance Director, Greater China, in monthly, quarterly and annual budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Design, implement and maintain an effective Capex approval and tracking process to ensure governance and accurate reporting.
- Prepare business reviews incorporating analytics and performance insights to inform leadership decision-making.
- Develop financial plans and feasibility studies for new business development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support commercial decision-making.
- Operate reporting systems and learn to become a proficient user of SAP and other reporting tools to upload results and generate management reports.
- Contribute to and manage ad hoc finance projects as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related discipline.
- Professional accounting or finance qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CFA) preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable numerical and analytical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
- Effective communicator capable of influencing partners across functions and seniority levels.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
Experience
2–4 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance or management accounting; experience within retail, consumer goods or luxury brands in the Asia market is an advantage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
