Capri Holdings — EMEA Junior Accountant in London. Hands‑on finance role covering AP, AR, GL, treasury and commercial finance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute and review Accounts Payable activities including vendor aged credit reports, supplier reconciliations and vendor portal administration.
- Support Accounts Receivable and Treasury by reviewing EMEA cash accounts, monitoring concession income, managing standing orders/direct debits and performing petty cash and cashbook reviews.
- Assist month‑end and year‑end General Ledger close tasks: prepare journals, prepayment and accrual reviews, reconciliations and cost line analysis.
- Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in collaboration with the External Accounting Service and internal stakeholders to ensure audit‑ready records.
- Review and analyse P&L cost accounts and provide reporting to support business decision‑making.
- Support forecasting and budgeting activities for the EMEA region as required by Commercial Finance.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally to maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and continuous process improvements.
- Provide ad‑hoc operational and administrative support to the EMEA Finance team, including distribution of incoming post and other tasks.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Retail Finance or a comparable fast‑paced commercial environment.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH).
- Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP accounting standards.
- Practical experience with SAP and/or HP is an advantage.
- Proactive, hands‑on approach with strong ownership, attention to detail and effective time management.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.

Experience
At least 1 year in retail finance or a similar fast‑paced environment, with practical exposure to AP/AR, general ledger reconciliations, month‑end close and basic treasury activities.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
