Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the GMM in delivering the end-to-end seasonal buying process and continuity product strategy for EMEA full-price retail and ecommerce footwear channels.
  • Select seasonal product ranges and optimise assortments by store, channel and size, operating to core assortment targets and seasonal OTB.
  • Build seasonal stock packages and place buys at style, store and size level to meet store OTB targets and the seasonal range plan.
  • Present seasonal selection and buy strategy to Retail teams; conduct in‑season product training highlighting key investments and specifications.
  • Oversee continuity product strategy, store continuity mapping and optimise monthly reorder strategy.
  • Produce weekly, monthly and ad hoc product performance and sell-through analysis; present findings to business stakeholders.
  • Lead pre-buy seasonal analysis and present lessons learned to the GMM and EMEA President ahead of each campaign.
  • Partner with Area Managers and stores to conduct market visits, refine assortments and realign stock and sales imbalances in‑season.
  • Coordinate requirements with Global Buying and Central Merchandising to ensure product development and capsule needs are met.
  • Collaborate with Middle East Buying, Senior Planner and Allocator to optimise regional stock share, inventory cover and sell-through targets.
  • Determine assortments for store events, visual merchandising and new store openings in line with opening stock plans.
  • Develop strong cross-functional relationships with Visual Merchandising, Marketing, Global Merchandising, Logistics and Online Partnership teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years' experience in Buying and/or Merchandise Planning across European markets.
  • University graduate or equivalent level experience.
  • Keen eye for product with demonstrable experience in assortment building.
  • Strong knowledge of current footwear and accessories trends within the luxury sector.
  • Proven capability in managing and mentoring junior colleagues.
  • Track record of increasing sales turnover and maximising gross profit.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Highly developed analytical skills.
  • Fluency in English.
