Role & Responsibilities
- Process sales transactions accurately across multiple payment methods (cash, card, contactless) and manage returns/refunds following company procedures.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and maintain till accuracy; reconcile cash and transactions at designated intervals and at shift end.
- Support store opening and closing procedures, including cash-up, security checks and daily administrative tasks.
- Support virtual/omnichannel selling activities and update the virtual catalogue with new arrivals and product information.
- Deliver high-standard guest service, assist clients with enquiries, and promote relevant products and services.
- Comply with loss-prevention, health & safety and company retail policies; maintain store presentation and housekeeping standards.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer-facing experience preferred, ideally with cashier or POS responsibilities.
- Strong numeracy and attention to detail with demonstrated integrity in cash handling.
- Excellent verbal communication and client-service skills with a polished, professional manner.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends and bank holidays.
- Legal right to work in the United Kingdom.

Experience
Previous experience in retail or as a cashier is preferred; familiarity with POS systems and experience supporting omnichannel or virtual selling is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent) preferred.
