Jil Sander (OTB) seeks a Store Manager in Berlin to lead boutique operations, drive sales and develop a high-performing retail team.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day store operations to achieve and exceed sales targets, KPI objectives and margin goals; accountable for store P&L performance.
- Recruit, mentor and develop a high-performing boutique team; set clear performance expectations and deliver regular coaching.
- Own the guest experience from first contact to after-sales, ensuring exemplary service standards and clienteling bespoke to the Jil Sander client.
- Implement and maintain brand visual merchandising directives and seasonal floor sets to optimise conversion and uphold brand aesthetics.
- Manage inventory, replenishment and stock integrity; coordinate with central merchandising to drive assortment and allocation decisions.
- Oversee administrative tasks including sales reporting, payroll inputs, cash handling procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
- Collaborate with regional management and headquarters to execute promotional initiatives, local events and CRM campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in multi‑brand or luxury retail management with responsibility for sales and team leadership.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience managing store budgets, forecasts and KPI delivery.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire teams and cultivate long‑term client relationships.
- Disciplined approach to operations, inventory control and compliance with cash‑handling and loss‑prevention procedures.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to travel occasionally for training or regional meetings.

Experience
Significant retail management experience in luxury or premium fashion (typically 3–5+ years), with prior responsibility for driving sales targets, managing a boutique team and delivering operational excellence.
Education
Degree in business, retail management, hospitality or equivalent professional experience preferred; formal retail management training is advantageous.
