Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain medium‑ and short‑term supply plans to meet customer service targets while minimising inventory and obsolescence.
  • Translate master production schedules into component and sub‑assembly requirements using MRP and ensure on‑time supply to assembly lines.
  • Collaborate with production, procurement and customer service to balance capacity, materials and priorities; escalate conflicts and propose mitigations.
  • Manage stock position and safety levels across key SKUs; drive inventory optimisation initiatives and identify slow‑moving items.
  • Support S&OP and weekly planning cadences with accurate demand inputs, scenario analysis and rolling forecasts.
  • Coordinate with external and internal suppliers to secure deliveries, track order status and resolve supply disruptions.
  • Produce and maintain planning KPIs, reports and dashboards to monitor service levels, fill rates and forecast accuracy.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline planning processes and systems integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a planning role within manufacturing — preferably high‑precision or watchmaking environments.
  • Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills.
  • Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to translate data into operational decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across functions.
  • Fluent business communication in English; additional regional language advantageous (not specified in source).
