Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain medium‑ and short‑term supply plans to meet customer service targets while minimising inventory and obsolescence.
- Translate master production schedules into component and sub‑assembly requirements using MRP and ensure on‑time supply to assembly lines.
- Collaborate with production, procurement and customer service to balance capacity, materials and priorities; escalate conflicts and propose mitigations.
- Manage stock position and safety levels across key SKUs; drive inventory optimisation initiatives and identify slow‑moving items.
- Support S&OP and weekly planning cadences with accurate demand inputs, scenario analysis and rolling forecasts.
- Coordinate with external and internal suppliers to secure deliveries, track order status and resolve supply disruptions.
- Produce and maintain planning KPIs, reports and dashboards to monitor service levels, fill rates and forecast accuracy.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects to streamline planning processes and systems integration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a planning role within manufacturing — preferably high‑precision or watchmaking environments.
- Strong proficiency with MRP/ERP systems and advanced Excel modelling skills.
- Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to translate data into operational decisions.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; able to influence across functions.
- Fluent business communication in English; additional regional language advantageous (not specified in source).
