Role & Responsibilities
- Execute systematic visual and dimensional inspections of movements, components and finished watches against Jaeger‑LeCoultre technical specifications.
- Operate timing and performance equipment (timegrapher) and perform accuracy, amplitude and beat error measurements.
- Conduct water‑resistance testing and seal checks using approved testers and document results.
- Inspect surface finishing, assembly quality and aesthetic conformity under stereo microscope and loupe.
- Record non‑conformities, raise inspection reports and follow corrective actions with production and quality teams.
- Calibrate and maintain metrology equipment; ensure traceability of inspection instruments and measurement data.
- Validate incoming parts and supplier returns when required; support first‑article inspection and final release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects by identifying recurring defects and proposing practical corrective measures.
Qualifications
- Vocational diploma or certificate in watchmaking (horology), precision mechanics or equivalent technical qualification.
- Proven ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly specifications.
- High manual dexterity, visual acuity and sustained attention to detail.
- Familiarity with quality control principles and ability to document findings clearly.
- Fluency in safe workshop practices and ability to work in a controlled atelier environment.
