Jaeger-LeCoultre — Meyrin: Public Relations Intern position supporting media relations, events and communications for the Swiss watchmaker.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the PR team in daily media relations: draft press releases, prepare media lists and maintain press databases.
- Monitor international and local press coverage; compile media reports and distribution analytics.
- Assist in the organisation and execution of events, press previews, product launches and VIP/media hospitality.
- Prepare and adapt press materials and press kits for local markets and multilingual audiences.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders (marketing, product, boutiques) and external agencies to ensure message alignment.
- Support influencer and editorial outreach, including sample requests, follow-ups and reporting.
- Contribute to content creation for press communication and social channels under supervision.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or a related discipline.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail; press-writing experience preferred.
- Demonstrable interest in luxury watchmaking, design and brand storytelling.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage concurrent tasks and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional disposition for liaising with journalists, influencers and high-net-worth clientele.
Skills
Experience
Internship-level role; previous internships or academic projects in PR, communications, luxury goods or media are highly desirable. Candidates typically bring up to one year of practical experience supporting editorial or event activities.
Education
Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism or equivalent.
