Jaeger-LeCoultre Procurement Engineering Intern (6 months) in Le Sentier, Switzerland. Support lead-free material transition and after-sales operations within the prestigious watchmaking Manufacture.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the deployment and technical data structuring of lead-free materials within the PLM system, ensuring seamless supplier coordination and logistics orchestration
- Monitor the technical implementation of optimizations across targeted component families and pilot the industrialization process with external partners
- Provide direct operational support to the Procurement team on after-sales service components, including the definition of reference witness parts and production tracking
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by proposing workflow enhancements, optimizing technical data management, and facilitating communication between Procurement, Engineering, and After-Sales Service teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school, polytechnic, or university program with specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Micromechanics, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred
- Demonstrated autonomous work ethic, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving approach
- Strong relational and communication skills with internal technical experts and external industrial partners

Experience
No prior professional experience required; engineering coursework or capstone projects in procurement, supply chain, materials engineering, or mechanical design are advantageous.
Education
Current enrollment in an engineering school, polytechnic institution, or university degree program with specialization in Mechanical Engineering, Micromechanics, Materials Science, or Industrial Engineering. Candidates in their final or penultimate year of study are preferred.
