Jaeger‑LeCoultre in Le Sentier seeks an OT Cybersecurity Engineer Intern to support ICS/SCADA security, network assessments and remediation projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support implementation and validation of OT security controls across production and manufacturing environments.
- Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing of industrial control systems (ICS) and SCADA components.
- Help map and document OT network architecture, including classification of assets and segmentation recommendations.
- Collaborate with engineering, maintenance and IT teams to remediate identified risks and deploy mitigations.
- Contribute to incident detection and response activities for OT events and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
- Participate in lab testing, proof‑of‑concepts and security tool evaluations for OT environments.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s programme in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Foundational knowledge of network and IT security principles, with an interest in operational technology and industrial control systems.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g. Modbus, OPC UA) and PLC/SCADA fundamentals.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem‑solving skills and attention to procedural detail.
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills to collaborate with multi‑disciplinary production teams.

Experience
Student level internship: academic projects, lab work or prior internships involving IT or OT security, network analysis or industrial automation. Practical exposure to ICS or SCADA environments and hands‑on testing tools is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant technical degree (BSc or MSc) in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering or closely related field.
