Role & Responsibilities
- Support the IT/network teams by translating business requirements into clear technical specifications and user stories.
- Collect, consolidate and analyse network performance and availability data to produce actionable reports and dashboards.
- Document network topology, device configurations and inventories; contribute to an accurate configuration management database (CMDB).
- Assist in planning, testing and coordinating network changes and deployments with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
- Execute functional and acceptance tests for network projects, log issues, and support post‑implementation validation and remediation.
- Contribute to process improvement, prepare knowledge‑base articles and maintain up‑to‑date procedural documentation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in Computer Science, Information Systems, Network Engineering, Telecommunications or a closely related discipline.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret technical metrics and turn data into concise recommendations.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills and the capacity to liaise with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Familiarity with fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching) and basic IT service management principles.
- Self‑motivated, meticulous and able to manage multiple small projects and priorities within an internship placement.

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships or academic projects involving network analysis, systems administration or IT project work are advantageous.
Education
Enrolled undergraduate or graduate student in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Information Systems, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
