Role & Responsibilities
- Set up, regulate and fine‑adjust mechanical watch movements to achieve factory timing specifications.
- Perform precision measurements and quality control using timing machines, microscopes and micrometric instruments; document results and corrective actions.
- Execute micro‑adjustments to escapements, balance assemblies and regulation systems to stabilize amplitude and rate.
- Collaborate with assembly, quality and engineering teams to investigate anomalies and implement corrective process improvements.
- Maintain tooling and measurement equipment; ensure a clean, controlled bench environment and compliance with workshop procedures and traceability standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience regulating mechanical watch movements or in precision mechanical regulation; proven ability to meet strict timing tolerances.
- Excellent manual dexterity, sustained visual acuity and fine motor control under microscope.
- Strong understanding of horological escapements, balance springs, lubrication practices and timing theory.
- Rigorous approach to documentation, traceability and shop‑floor quality standards.
- Vocational qualification in watchmaking (e.g., CFC/Watchmaker) or a technical diploma in precision mechanics is preferred.
