Jaeger‑LeCoultre in Le Sentier seeks a Manufacture Inventory and Flow Manager to oversee stocks, materials flow and production logistics.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own end‑to‑end inventory management for the manufacture: raw materials, components and finished goods, ensuring accuracy, availability and traceability.
  • Design and optimise material flows between suppliers, workshops and warehouses to support production schedules and reduce lead times and excess stock.
  • Define, monitor and continuously improve inventory KPIs (turns, fill rate, days of inventory, ABC analysis) and drive corrective actions.
  • Coordinate closely with Production Planning, Procurement, Quality and Engineering to align stocks with manufacturing demand and product launches.
  • Supervise warehouse operations, physical inventory counts and cycle‑count programmes to guarantee stock integrity and compliance with internal controls.
  • Lead and develop a small operational team, setting objectives, coaching and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Lead or support ERP/MRP configuration and data quality projects related to materials planning, nomenclatures and stock valuation.
  • Implement lean and continuous‑improvement initiatives (5S, kanban, FIFO) to optimise storage, handling and waste reduction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, logistics, industrial engineering or a related discipline; a master’s degree is an advantage.
  • Proven track record (typically 5+ years) in inventory control and material flow management within a manufacturing environment; at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Demonstrated experience with MRP/ERP processes and inventory control methodologies (ABC, FIFO, cycle counting).
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using data to drive decisions; advanced Excel skills are expected.
  • Leadership aptitude with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders and drive operational change.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement approaches and warehouse operations.
  • Experience in high‑precision, regulated or luxury manufacturing (e.g., watchmaking, jewellery, micro‑mechanics) is strongly preferred.
