Jaeger-LeCoultre Health & Safety Trainee internship in Le Sentier, Switzerland—5–6 months supporting occupational risk prevention initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive hazard inventories in production workshops, identifying and assessing specific workplace dangers
- Ensure regulatory compliance by identifying and applying all recognized safety rules and SUVA directives
- Define and structure essential occupational health and safety competencies for production staff, including chemical handling and equipment operation
- Develop and formalize safety documentation, including job description sheets and clear, actionable corrective action plans
- Coordinate and facilitate scheduled follow-up sessions for hazard inventory reviews with department managers
- Support the operational deployment of approved technical and organizational safety improvements
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a master's degree programme at an engineering school with specialization in HSE (Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment) or Risk Management
- Strong understanding of occupational risk prevention concepts, ideally including the SUVA methodology
- Proficiency with standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent communication and listening skills with strong technical writing abilities for formal reporting
- Demonstrated scientific rigor and analytical mindset
- Fluent French language skills, both written and oral
