Role & Responsibilities

  • Support identification, definition and delivery of continuous‑improvement projects across after‑sales (service & repairs) operations.
  • Map and analyse service workflows, cycle times and failure modes to identify waste and bottlenecks.
  • Apply Lean and DMAIC methodologies to drive process optimisation, standardisation and error‑proofing (mistake‑proofing) initiatives.
  • Conduct root‑cause analyses (5 Whys, Ishikawa) and FMEA assessments to reduce rework and improve repair quality.
  • Collect, clean and analyse operational KPIs; build dashboards and present findings to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional workstreams with watchmakers, quality, logistics and customer service to pilot solutions.
  • Draft new or revised SOPs and contribute to training materials for technical teams.
  • Monitor implemented improvements and prepare regular status reports and management presentations.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an engineering programme (mechanical, industrial, manufacturing engineering or equivalent) at bachelor’s or master’s level.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with coursework or project experience in process engineering or operations management.
  • Familiarity with Lean principles and continuous‑improvement methods; formal Six Sigma training is an advantage.
  • Ability to synthesise quantitative data into clear recommendations and professional presentations.
  • Interest in precision manufacturing or watchmaking and a hands‑on, detail‑oriented approach.
