Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct inventory, classification, and description of physical and digital documents within the archival collections
- Participate in data entry and updates to archival database systems
- Assist in digitization projects, including document preparation, scanning, quality control, and image indexing
- Provide support for internal documentary research and archive inquiries
- Contribute to the valorization of heritage collections through exhibitions, publications, and internal communications where applicable
- Execute routine administrative tasks supporting daily operations of the archives department
Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Master's program in Archival Studies, Information Sciences, or related field
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Familiarity with archival management software and digital preservation tools
- Strong demonstrated interest in watchmaking and horological heritage
- Recognized for methodical approach, organizational skills, and attention to detail
- Autonomous, proactive mindset with analytical thinking
- Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in French; professional English preferred
