IWC Schaffhausen seeks a Team Performance Training Manager in Schaffhausen, Switzerland to lead retail learning and drive sales performance.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and continuously refine learning curricula and performance interventions for retail teams across boutiques and wholesale partners.
  • Deliver experiential workshops, product-knowledge sessions, sales technique training and train-the-trainer programmes to frontline staff and store managers.
  • Coach managers and shop leaders on performance management, objective setting, talent development and corrective action plans.
  • Develop and administer assessments, certification pathways and KPI dashboards to measure competency uptake and commercial impact.
  • Collaborate with global product, retail operations and marketing teams to align training content with launches, campaigns and service standards.
  • Manage training calendar, budget and logistics; coordinate external trainers and e-learning development where required.
  • Conduct on-site visits and audits in boutiques to observe behaviours, reinforce standards and provide in-situ coaching.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, adult education, hospitality or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum five years’ experience in learning & development or retail training, preferably within the luxury goods or premium retail sector.
  • Proven experience designing curricula and delivering training that demonstrably improves sales performance and guest experience.
  • Strong facilitation, coaching and stakeholder-management capabilities, with experience working across global or multi-regional teams.
  • Comfortable with travel to retail locations and flexible scheduling to support store hours and launches.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive experience in retail learning & development or sales enablement, with a track record of designing and delivering programmes that drive measurable improvements in commercial and service KPIs; previous experience in the luxury watch or luxury retail sectors is strongly preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, HR, adult education, hospitality management or a related field.
