IWC Schaffhausen seeks a Project Manager, Workplace & Space Planning (60%) in Schaffhausen, Switzerland to lead office and facility space projects.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead workplace and space-planning projects from brief through handover, ensuring delivery on scope, time and budget for corporate offices, production-adjacent spaces and employee facilities.
- Develop and maintain space standards, layouts and workplace guidelines aligned with corporate strategy and local regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including property, HR, IT, procurement and external designers, consultants and contractors.
- Produce and review technical drawings, layouts and BIM/CAD documentation; manage revisions and approvals with internal and external parties.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules and procurement processes; monitor costs and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, occupational health & safety standards and sustainability objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement in workplace utilisation and office ergonomics, and support change management for space transitions.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in workplace, office or facilities project management, ideally within a corporate, manufacturing or luxury-goods environment.
- Formal education in architecture, interior design, civil engineering, facility management or a related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience producing and reviewing technical CAD/BIM drawings and managing contractor deliverables.
- Strong organisational skills with capability to manage multiple concurrent projects and tight timelines at 60% FTE.
- Excellent negotiation and contract-management skills with experience controlling budgets and procurement.

Experience
Several years of hands-on project management experience in workplace planning, facilities or building projects, including coordination of design teams and contractors; experience in a regulated manufacturing or luxury environment is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, Facility Management or equivalent professional qualification.
