IWC seeks an Intern for Product Strategy in Schaffhausen, Switzerland. Six-month role supporting luxury watch market analysis and strategic planning.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of strategic business areas and competitive landscape, deriving actionable recommendations for multiple departments
- Perform detailed benchmark analysis and competitive intelligence studies, synthesizing findings into compelling presentations
- Analyze product performance metrics based on sales data to inform strategic decisions
- Support product managers in developing strategic presentations and executive briefings
- Maintain and update internal product database references and conduct research in support of product marketing initiatives
- Assist with product presentation strategy and research for watch fair exhibitions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering
- Prior internship experience in luxury goods or FMCG sectors preferred
- Deep familiarity with contemporary horological trends and new product releases
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
- Fluent English proficiency; German language skills advantageous
- Strong analytical capabilities with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic insights
- Demonstrated organizational prowess and proactive, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving
Skills
Experience
Preferably prior internships in the luxury industry or FMCG sector; enthusiasm for the watch industry and knowledge of current horological trends required.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Engineering.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Schaffhausen, Schaffhausen, Switzerland, with easy access to Zurich.
