Issey Miyake is seeking a Product Development Marketing Assistant intern to support future projects within its Development Marketing team, reporting to a Product Manager. Responsibilities span product development, 360° coordination, market analysis, shoots, communication materials, and the International Seminar.
Role & Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of N+2 marketing plans, including creative thinking on new concepts, product design, and research for references and inspiration.
- Track the development of launch products, including initiating mock-ups, preparing execution documents, and following up with the factory.
- Create briefs for 360° stakeholders and external partners.
- Help manage 360° initiatives and coordinate with Communications, Retail, Purchasing, GWPs, and Operational Marketing teams.
- Analyze the brand’s market performance and monitor competitors, including price positioning and product universes.
- Participate in and organize photo shoots with external agencies and studios.
- Respond to specific requests from markets and expert departments.
- Write communication materials and presentations.
- Help organize internal meetings, including preparing presentation materials and mock-ups.
- Help organize the International Seminar, an internal Shiseido event, by creating presentation materials such as visual shoots and films, managing mock-ups and point-of-sale advertising, and coordinating across departments.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing higher education at Bac +4/5 level, such as business school or university.
- Organized and rigorous, with an appreciation for teamwork and high standards in work.
- Creative, curious, and sensitive to the fragrance and cosmetics sectors.
- Proficient in the Office suite.
- Fluent in English.
