HUGO BOSS seeks a Warehouse Associate for its distribution center in Midway, Georgia, to handle inbound freight, order fulfillment, merchandise preparation, shipping, and warehouse upkeep. This is a full-time position.
Role & Responsibilities
- Unload trailers, sort and repack inbound freight.
- Pick and pack customer orders, including flat-packed goods and garments on hangers.
- Move shipping cartons to and from the conveyor system.
- Apply price tickets and pack merchandise.
- Sort and palletize cartons, then load trailers.
- Operate pallet jacks as required.
- Complete assignments using RF equipment.
- Resolve problems or discrepancies with assistance from the immediate supervisor.
- Maintain attendance in accordance with the attendance policy.
- Handle all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Consult order forms daily to select the correct products for each order accurately and promptly.
- Ensure merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Use safe work practices in all daily responsibilities.
- Maintain the condition of the distribution center and/or warehouse work area, keeping it free of trash and products in their correct locations.
Qualifications
- At least six months of distribution center, warehouse, and/or order-filling experience.
- Experience with a warehouse management system and reading and using RF equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and understand department and product documentation and use matching skills.
- Positive, respectful attitude when working independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer and math skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Experience working with Standard Operating Procedures.
- Ability to stand and/or walk for eight to ten hours a day.
- Ability to push, pull, and reach as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry between 0 and 50 lb as needed.
- Good oral communication skills.
- Forklift or powered equipment experience is a plus.
