The part-time Stock Associate supports merchandise operations at HUGO BOSS’s Jersey Gardens outlet in Elizabeth, New Jersey, ensuring accurate receipts, replenishment, product presentation, and a positive shopping experience. The role also supports store management on Health & Safety procedures and standards.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compare merchandise invoices with received items to verify shipment accuracy.
- Display merchandise on shelves, counters, and tables to attract customers and promote sales.
- Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales-floor merchandise.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
- Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify items requiring replenishment.
- Answer customer questions about merchandise and advise on merchandise selection.
- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
- Support store management in implementing Health & Safety policies and operational procedures, using the provided training and guidance.
- Follow local laws and regulations and HUGO BOSS Health & Safety standards at all times.
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and present merchandise in a way that showcases the brand.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of stock experience.
- Effective time-management skills and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle merchandise, place merchandise, and ship and receive products.
- Ability to work with retail operating systems, PCs, and scanning equipment.
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and in stockrooms for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to contribute to an effective and productive team environment.
