Role & Responsibilities

• Serve as the key expert for Chemical Management, Restricted Substances (RSL), Testing Programs, and product safety requirements.
• Maintain and further develop the HUGO BOSS RSL, Testing Matrix, and related compliance standards.
• Provide practical guidance and consulting to Product Development, Sourcing, Quality Management, and other business functions.
• Monitor regulatory developments and industry initiatives and support their implementation within HUGO BOSS.
• Manage compliance risks, evaluate test results, and support corrective actions with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement, simplification, and automation of Product Compliance processes and tools.
• Support reporting, KPI monitoring, and compliance documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, Environmental Science, Product Compliance, or a comparable field.
• Strong knowledge of RSL management, chemical regulations, testing programs, and product compliance requirements.
• Experience working with suppliers, laboratories, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Lateral leadership experience or proven ability to coordinate projects and lead topics across functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Interest in process optimization, digitalization, and automation.
• Fluent English skills.

5–7 years of experience in Chemical Management, Product Compliance, Product Safety, or a related area.

Education

Degree in Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, Environmental Science, Product Compliance, or a comparable field.
