HUGO BOSS is seeking a Retail Sales Apprentice for its BOSS Store Berlin Kurfürstendamm, starting 1 September 2027. The training covers retail operations, customer advising and sales, visual merchandising, checkout procedures, projects and stockroom processes, alongside academic training with OSZ Handel in Berlin. Monthly remuneration is €1,130 in year one, €1,280 in year two and €1,430 in year three.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn retail operations and work with current trends and styles alongside the store team.
- Advise customers and sell premium collections in a modern, authentic manner.
- Take responsibility for supporting the BOSS Store independently, gaining insight into sales and contributing to sales figures, orders and other retail success factors.
- Apply creative ideas and visual merchandising skills to implement innovative concepts.
- Learn checkout procedures and respond to customer complaints in a friendly, professional manner.
- Support projects and stockroom processes while developing skills and contributing to business success.
- Complete the academic portion of the training in Berlin in cooperation with OSZ Handel vocational school.
Qualifications
- Very good lower secondary school-leaving certificate (grades 1–2) or a good intermediate school-leaving certificate.
- An open, communicative approach and confidence engaging with people.
- Previous customer-advisory experience through an internship or temporary role is of interest.
- Interest in working in one of the company’s stores, outlets or shops after completing the training.
Skills
Education
Very good Hauptschulabschluss (grades 1–2) or a good Realschulabschluss; academic training is delivered in Berlin in cooperation with OSZ Handel vocational school.
