  • Ensure store associates are trained in and comply with inventory management, movement, and receiving processes.
  • Execute sound inventory practices for receiving, restocking, transfers, and inventory discrepancies.
  • Manage product inventory and merchandising standards in line with company direction.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire store teams throughout the region.
  • Build and monitor talent pools, succession plans, and regional growth and development plans.
  • Support store leaders with training, coaching, development, customer-service standards, standard operating procedures, visual standards, and employee-relations compliance in partnership with Human Resources and senior management.
  • Communicate company objectives consistently to store management teams through scheduled conference calls and email.
  • Establish processes to ensure stores remain accountable for expectations in a consistent and timely manner.
  • Conduct regular store visits, communicate standards and expectations, and develop action plans to advance the business.
  • Connect with each store leader weekly to review merchandising, staffing, operations, and other business areas, and provide follow-up and feedback.
  • Oversee, control, and adjust regional payroll budgets and weekly hours, reviewing store schedules to ensure appropriate sales-floor coverage.
  • Analyze business trends in assortment, sell-through, and stock levels, identifying opportunities to increase sales.
  • Ensure the region follows company policies and procedures in Store Operating Manuals and Human Resources procedural documentation.
