Role & Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe and reliable operation of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
• Support fault diagnosis and resolve technical issues thoroughly and sustainably.
• Apply technical expertise during service and repair work.
• Organize and coordinate external contractors’ maintenance and repair work, and inspect and approve completed work.
• Contribute experience to optimization initiatives and technical projects.
• Take part in a regular on-call rotation with colleagues to ensure the operation of critical systems.

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training as a refrigeration systems mechanic, a mechatronics technician specializing in refrigeration and air conditioning, or an equivalent technical qualification.
• Further training and certifications under Category I of the ChemKlimaschutzV, or equivalent qualifications.
• Initial professional experience in a service role.
• Experience with ventilation systems is an advantage.
• Practical, hands-on approach, with careful and reliable working practices.
• Sound technical understanding, initiative, and the ability to take a broader perspective.
• Category B driving licence.
• Good written and spoken German.
