HUGO BOSS seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead union employees in its production environment and oversee accurate, timely processing of wholesale and retail customer orders at its Savannah Distribution Center. This is an onsite, full-time position in Midway, Georgia, with a flexible schedule of 45–50 hours per week and possible overtime.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maintain receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations in line with program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Schedule and assign employees, and follow up on work results to meet warehouse operational requirements.
- Ensure staff complete training for all aspects of their job responsibilities.
- Coach, counsel, and discipline employees; plan, monitor, and appraise job results; and conduct monthly associate observations.
- Process customer orders according to department guidelines, ensuring accuracy, goods quality, and proper packaging.
- Ensure associates have the tools required to perform their tasks.
- Verify that drivers provide photo identification and sign in before cargo is received.
- Enforce safety rules at all times.
- Maintain department procedure documentation and update it when processes change.
- Oversee the supply of materials and department equipment, including hangers and RF guns.
- Ensure materials are stored properly to conserve space and comply with safety procedures.
- Oversee the rotation and ordering of materials, such as hangers.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, or Logistics preferred.
- 1–3 years of leadership experience in logistics or distribution; apparel or retail background preferred.
- Flexible schedule; 45–50 hours per week, with overtime potentially required.
- Availability and willingness to work any shift as needed.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of success.
- Effective oral and written communication skills, strong team-building skills, and impeccable integrity.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize multiple initiatives and tasks while maintaining a strict focus on deadlines and a strong sense of urgency.
- Working knowledge of SAP EWM, MS Word, and MS Excel.

1–3 years of leadership experience in logistics or distribution
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; a bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, or Logistics preferred.
