The Stock Associate supports merchandise receipt, inventory, replenishment, presentation, and customer assistance while helping maintain Health & Safety standards. This is a part-time position; expected base pay is $16–$17 per hour, with offers based on relevant qualifications and market and organizational factors.
Role & Responsibilities
- Compare merchandise invoices with items received to verify shipment accuracy.
- Present merchandise on shelves, counters, and tables to attract customers and promote sales.
- Receive, open, unpack, and issue sales-floor merchandise.
- Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
- Take inventory and examine merchandise to identify replenishment needs.
- Answer customer questions about merchandise and advise on product selection.
- Clean display cases, shelves, and aisles.
- Support store management in implementing Health & Safety policies and operational procedures, using provided training and guidance.
- Follow local laws and regulations and HUGO BOSS Health & Safety standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of stock experience.
- Effective time-management skills and the ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to handle, place, ship, and receive merchandise.
- Ability to use retail operating systems, PCs, and scanning equipment.
- Ability to remain mobile on the sales floor and in stockrooms for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to contribute to an effective and productive team environment.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
