HUGO BOSS is recruiting a Garment Sewing Apprentice in Metzingen for a two-year vocational training programme starting 1 September 2027. The role covers garment series production, sewing, material cutting and quality checks, alongside school-based training; monthly remuneration is €1,180 in year one, €1,273 in year two and €1,378 in year three.
Role & Responsibilities
- Learn the end-to-end series production and sewing of various product groups.
- Plan and prepare production steps.
- Cut materials appropriately.
- Sew, iron and further process garments.
- Work in the series production area of FACTORY ONE using modern industrial sewing machines and automated sewing machines.
- Inspect product quality and workmanship.
- Complete school-based training at Gewerbliche Schule in Metzingen, usually 1–2 days per week, and apply the acquired knowledge in practical work at the company for the remaining time.
Qualifications
- A good lower secondary school certificate (Hauptschulabschluss) or intermediate secondary school certificate (Realschulabschluss).
- Enjoyment of fashion, craftsmanship and practical work.
- Willingness to learn new things and contribute actively.
- Carefulness, team spirit and an interest in high-quality products.
- Personality, strengths and interests are valued alongside grades.
