The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager with overall store operations and administration, productivity, sales and profit targets, KPI monitoring, and team development. The role is full-time and unlimited-term in Utrecht, and requires at least 2–3 years of relevant experience, an MBO-level degree, and written and verbal Dutch and English.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in overseeing the store’s overall operations and administration.
- Contribute to store productivity and the achievement of sales, corporate and individual productivity goals, and profit targets.
- Monitor KPI performance to maximize customer conversion and add-on sales.
- Work with the Store Manager to address performance-related issues where necessary.
- Assist with team training and development, recruitment, motivation, and coaching.
- Monitor competition and trends, lead by example, and deliver service that exceeds customer expectations.
Qualifications
- At least an MBO-level degree.
- Demonstrable success as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor with a recognized brand for at least 2–3 years.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English.
- Lives near Utrecht.
