The Assistant Store Manager at HUGO BOSS in Toronto leads the team in delivering exceptional customer experiences, driving sales, managing inventory and profit and loss, and maintaining health and safety standards. This is a full-time, unlimited-term role focused on staff development, community engagement and effective store operations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and present HUGO BOSS merchandise to create a positive impression of the brand.
- Train and develop staff through effective communication, deliver exceptional customer service, support the merchant group in driving business, and resolve general problems.
- Lead the team in achieving positive results by supporting sales, managing profit and loss, and controlling inventory.
- Establish a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are carried out and policies are followed.
- Build relationships with the community through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Continuously evaluate and address performance issues, and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure health and safety requirements are met, empower store staff to uphold high standards, and support store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure health and safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A bachelor of science degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.

Experience
1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
