The Assistant Store Manager at HUGO BOSS helps deliver an exceptional shopping experience, lead and develop the team, drive sales and profitability, and oversee inventory, recruitment, community engagement, and Health & Safety compliance. This is a full-time, unlimited-term role in Ste-Foy, Quebec.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience, present HUGO BOSS merchandise effectively, and execute operational strategies that support positive operating profits.
- Train and develop staff, serve customers, support the merchant group in driving business, and resolve problems through effective communication.
- Lead the team in achieving sales and profit objectives, managing profit and loss, and controlling inventory.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, client-base development, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are executed and policies are followed.
- Develop community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate and address performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met and empower store staff to uphold high standards, supporting store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A BS college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.

Experience
1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
A BS college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
