The Assistant Store Manager at HUGO BOSS supports store leadership by driving sales, delivering exceptional customer experiences, managing operations and developing the team. This is a full-time, unlimited-term position in Sainte-Foy, Quebec, with a base salary plus commission and flexible schedules.
Role & Responsibilities
- Create a positive impression of HUGO BOSS in the market by delivering an exceptional shopping experience, showcasing the brand through engaging product presentations and implementing commercial strategies that generate positive operating results.
- Communicate effectively to train staff, provide exceptional customer service, create value with the sales team and resolve general issues.
- Lead the team to positive results by driving gross sales, streamlining profit-and-loss management and maintaining current inventory.
- Establish a goal-oriented sales culture focused on personalized selling, client development and exceptional service.
- Ensure compliance with policies and execution of standard operating procedures.
- Build community connections through personal engagement, public relations activities and advertising opportunities.
- Continuously assess and address performance issues, and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety requirements and help store staff meet the highest standards in support of the store management team.
- Know all occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure all occupational health and safety documentation is properly recorded.
Qualifications
- A college diploma in business is an asset, or equivalent experience.
- One to two years of experience managing a specialty retail business.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and leadership skills.
- Customer-service aptitude and strong communication skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, enterprising and able to work autonomously.
- Strong business acumen and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Refined taste and sophistication aligned with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
