The Assistant Store Manager represents HUGO BOSS through exceptional customer experiences and merchandise presentation, while leading the team, driving sales and profitability, and overseeing inventory and store operations. This is a full-time, unlimited position in Halton Hills.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional shopping experience and present HUGO BOSS merchandise in a way that conveys a positive brand impression.
- Train and develop staff, provide excellent customer service, support the merchant group in driving business, and resolve problems.
- Lead the team in achieving sales and profit goals while managing profit and loss and controlling inventory.
- Build a goal-oriented selling culture focused on relationship selling, developing a client base, and exceptional service.
- Ensure standard operating procedures are followed and policies are implemented.
- Build community relationships through personal involvement, public relations events, and advertising opportunities.
- Evaluate performance issues and actively recruit candidates.
- Ensure Health & Safety requirements are met and empower store staff to uphold high standards, supporting store management in this area.
- Maintain knowledge of Health & Safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure Health & Safety documentation is accurately recorded and maintained.
Qualifications
- A BS college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and entrepreneurial.
- Strong business acumen and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of taste and sophistication consistent with the HUGO BOSS lifestyle philosophy.
- Excellent knowledge of HUGO BOSS products.
Experience
1–2 years of specialty retail management experience.
Education
A BS college degree is preferred, or equivalent experience.
